Zoie is......

9 months old!!!!!! (And this picture thing is getting more and more difficult)

This girl is just a crazy one. She is standing on stuff and just recently started standing by herself.

Her clapping is uncontrollable, even though sometimes her hands don't actually touch when she is clapping.

Her dance game is on point with her crazy jumping move she does every time she hears a beat.

Zoie's favorite drawer in the house has been found and it just so happens to be where the tampons are kept. Is it bad to say that may be one of her favorite things to play with?

She is just starting to get the waving goodbye and hi thing down which just melts my heart when I drop her off at daycare.

Her favorite food right now......dog food!!!!!! She is always in the laundry room with the dog bowl and she loves the dogs water too. But really she is still iffy with the real food but likes quesadillas for sure and hates pasta as of right now.

This month she started sleeping even longer, waking up around 6:30 versus 5:00......that won't be around for much longer with daylight savings starting this weekend! Never a dull moment

Cruisin'

One of my best friends is getting married so in getting married style we had to have the bachelorette party. Her and her fiancĂ© met on a cruise ship while both working, so going on a cruise was very fitting!  We took a short little 3 day (booze) cruise.  It was a lot of fun, my first time on ship/cruise, and I'm glad it's over.....wedding time!  Brandon had the kids all weekend and did an amazing daddy daycare job, even with activities and sports and all! He's super dad in my eyes!

Weekend project

I have had this vintage window frame for quite some time now.   I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it but have received lots of opinions and feedback on how to mount the picture. I had heard mount the picture on something sturdy before stapling it to the window, cut the picture into 6 boxes and have it touch the glass since there's a gap in the back, or my original and easy idea of just stapling the picture to the back of the window.  That is exactly what I did and it was the easiest thing ever. I cannot believe I waited so long to get it on and up!  I am completely obsessed with it and finally have a wedding picture up in our house. On to the next project......

Tour de Zeke's Room

We have been working on Zeke's room for what seems like forever. We painted and set up his big boy bed tons of blog posts ago.  His room is now presentable. I say presentable because we still have some things we would like to do, add, and buy!   We decided on a vintage vehicle theme. It went from vintage cars to vintage vehicles because, of course, the themes I choose are not so popular.  I found a vintage car print I liked on etsy but everyone said the fabric was too hard to make as sheets or the cut they had wasn't long enough for a full size bed. After all that I thought going with solid colors would be a great idea. I ordered a duvet cover, pillow shams, a bed skirt, and a blanket from Restoration Hardware. I got them home, put them on the bed with some navy blue sheets and thought "eh"!!! I kept it up for awhile but hated it!!! It was so boring, the down comforter wouldn't stay in place in the duvet cover, and it was so heavy and hard Zeke didn't want to ...
